Josh Putnam cashes in for first career STARS Volunteer Racing Series win at Boyd’s

RINGGOLD, GA (May 6, 2011)—Josh Putnam of Florence, AL took the lead from race leader Skip Arp at the halfway point to lead the remaining distance for his first-career STARS Volunteer Racing Series presented by Arizona Sport Shirts win at the Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, GA on Friday May 6th in front of a great crowd.

Putnam’s victory came while driving the B & M Auto Salvage sponsored Jeff Burns powered Bob Pierce Race Car # 212 mount. Putnam crossed the line ahead of Chip Brindle, Arp who slipped back another spot as the race ran Green to Checkered after a lap two yellow flag, Chris Wall and Brandon Kinzer.
