Richmond Raceway Hosts Inaugural United Super Dirt Car Series Event on May 14!

RICHMOND, KY (May 8, 2011)-Richmond Raceway track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett are excited to host the inaugural event of the newly formed United Super Dirt Car Series (USDCS). The 40 lap event which has been named the Rain Dodger 40 is this Saturday, May 14 and pays $3,000 to win.

JumpStart Communications is sponsoring a Fast Time Award; the fastest qualifier in the USDCS Late Models will receive $100 in cash.

The A-Main payout for the Rain Dodger 40 event is as follows: 1)$3000, 2)$1500, 3)$1000, 4)$800, 5) $700, 6) $600, 7) $500, 8)$400, 9) $375, 10) $350, 11)$340, 12) $330, 13) $320, 14)$310, 15)$300, 16)$290, 17) $280, 18)$270, 19)$260, 20)$250 to start. All cars not transferring to the A-Main that compete in the B-Main will receive $50 tow money.

In addition to the USDCS Late Models, the Open Wheel Modifieds, Sportsman, Road Hogs, and Four Cylinders are also on the racing card for May 14.

All rain checks from Saturday, May 7 can be used at any event during the 2011 season. You must have your arm band or general admission ticket in order to receive credit. If you choose to use your rain checks at an event with a higher admission, you must pay the difference.

Also, the giveaways that were planned for May 7 will go as planned this Saturday, May 14. All women be sure and register at the admission gate upon entry or at the concession stand any time prior to intermission.

For Saturday, May 14 the pit area opens at 5:00 p.m. followed by the grandstand area at 6:30 p.m. A mandatory driver’s meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. with hot laps set to get underway at 7:00 p.m. Late Model qualifying begins immediately after hot laps are complete with racing beginning at approximately 8:00 p.m.

Ticket prices in the grandstand area for this special event are $17 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and kids under age 6 are admitted FREE. Pit passes are $30 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and kids under age 6 are also admitted FREE to the pit area.
