Millstream Speedway Paying $4,000 to Win for Late Models this Sunday, May 15
FINDLAY, OH (5/10/11) – After a wet and rainy Spring, Findlay, Ohio’s Millstream Speedway is set to swing open the gates this Sunday, May 15 with a $4,000 co-sanctioned event for the Sunoco ALMS and O’Reilly All-Star Late Models.
On Sunday, May 15th, fans will be treated to the 2011 season opener at Millstream Speedway in dramatic fashion, as the Sunoco ALMS Late Models and the O’Reilly All-Star Late Models converge on the northwest Ohio oval. A complete racing program is planned with Hot Laps, Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and the $4,000 to win A-Main. Also on the card will be a complete program for the Stocks/Trucks.
The complete, guaranteed Late Model purse for this event is as follows:
1) $4000, 2) $2000, 3) $1500, 4) $1000, 5) $800, 6) $700, 7) $600, 8) $550, 9) $525, 10) $500, 11) $450, 12) $425, 13) $400, 14) $375, 15) $350, 16) $325, 17-24) $300
General admission for this race is just $18 while pit admission is only $30. Pit gates are scheduled to open at 3:00pm with general admission gates opening at 4:00pm. Hot Laps will begin at 5:30pm with time trials and racing to follow.
Millstream Speedway is a 4/10-mile semi-banked clay oval located near Findlay, Ohio, just three miles west of Interstate 75 at exit 159 (US Route 224) on the corner of Township Road 136 and Township Road 95.
