Aberdeen, MS (05/11/11) – Even though Mother Nature has wreaked havoc on a large portion of the nation's events thus far in 2011, Jay (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ens Race Engines (JDRE) customers have still claimed their fair share of accolades and attention.
Bub McCool opened the season by claiming a $3,000 win in January during the 5th Annual Wild West Shootout at USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) in his #57J Victory Circle M1 Chassis by Moyer Super Late Model. Bub would also make noise by setting a new track record on April 8th at Duck River Speedway (Wheel, Tennessee) with the Tennessee Super Series before claiming the $3,000 feature win later that night. The next night at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana), Bub would qualify on the pole for the 14th Annual Indiana Ice Breaker, which was a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event. He currently leads the LOLMDS Rookie of the Year standings.
Ray Moore claimed his biggest career win with a Jay (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ens Racing Engine on February 26th as he topped the $10,000 win in the 1st Annual Pelican 100 at Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) in his #93 MB2 Customs Super Late Model. Ray also claimed a Weekly Racing Series Event on April 9th at Jones Motor Speedway (Chatham, Louisiana) as well as the $2,500 win with the O'Reilly SUPR tour at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) on May 6th.
2010 Brownstown Speedway Track Champion, Dillon White, picked up where he left off in 2010 by topping the Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) season opener in his #54 Mastersbilt/Jay (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ens Racing Engine Super Late Model.
Klint Byars has been on fire in 2011 in his #5 Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Jay (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ens Racing Engine as he has claimed Weekly Racing Series Events wins at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on March 26th and Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on May 7th. He also claimed his biggest career win ($2,500) and set a new track record on the same night with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) tour on April 9th at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi). He currently leads the overall standings and the rookie of the year standings with the MSCCS.
