The Southern Regional Racing Series will be back in action for an exciting Memorial Day Weekend with two $3,000 to win events with an added bonus for drivers: BONUS Weekend.
BONUS WEEKEND - Drivers accumulating the most points during weekend events 1. $500, 2.$300, 3.$200
On Friday night, May 27th, the SRRS will invade Boyd's Speedway for round 1 of a May double header weekend. This will be the second time of the 2011 racing season that the SRRS will be at Boyd's Speedway. The last event at Boyd's Speedway was one of the best of the year so far with Ronnie Johnson taking the top prize.
On Saturday, May 28th, the SRRS will be back in action for round 2 at Green Valley Speedway for a $3,000 to win event. Ronnie Johnson was the winner at the Bama Bash earlier this year. Who will tame "The Jungle" this time around?
The points battle is also heating up. Defending SRRS champion, Anthony Burroughs, is the leader with Josh Putnam trailing by 35 points. Chad Winkles, Joe Denby, and William Thomas round out the top 5.
