Ronny Lee Hollingsworth to Pilot Warrior House Car in Bad Boy 98

Northport, Alabama (05/17/11) – Ronny Lee Hollingsworth will begin a new era of his career in this weekend's Bad Boy 98 at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) as he pilots the #1 Warrior House Car Super Late Model in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned event.

With Flynn Motorsports switching all of their entries to Warrior Chassis the new cars aren't quite ready for action so Ronny Lee will pilot the #1 Goddard Performance/Warrior/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model in this weekend's event.

Hollingsworth commented, "Tony (Flynn) and myself are really excited about making the move to Warrior Race Cars, and we are looking forward to piloting the Warrior House Car at Batesville this weekend."

This weekend's 1st Annual Bad Boy 98 is a unique event to say the least as the winner will get $10,000, which is half of what the second place car will receive ($20,000). However, the winner will also receive a brand new, 2011 Chevrolet Camaro, while a lucky fan will receive a 2011 Ford Mustang. The event pays $1,200 just to start and gets underway on Thursday night with an Open Practice Session. Friday night will be headlined by time trials and heat race action, while Saturday's program will include b-mains and the 98 lap finale. After a week hiatus, Ronny Lee returned to action last Saturday night, May 14th at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) in a $2,500 to win/50 lap event at the 1/4 mile oval in Henry Cooper's #14 Super Late Model. Twenty-six participants entered the event, and after qualifying second fastest in his group, Hollingsworth locked into the pole-sitter's dash, where he registered a fourth place finish. Via his dash performance, he started fourth in the main event, and looked to have a car that could contend to the win before contact from a lap car near the race's midway point caused him to spin, bringing his night to a disappointing early end.
