Bluegrass Speedway Recognizes Sponsors for Compacts Debut on May 21
Bardstown, KY-May 20, 2011- Bluegrass Speedway track promoters David and Anita Ferrell would like to take this opportunity to recognize some businesses who have partnered with the ½ mile high-banked Nelson County clay oval to make the debut of the Compacts division possible this Saturday evening May 21.
Rapid Fire Motorsports of Jeffersonville, IN is owned by Tony Trinkle and offers in-house complete chassis fabrication and is helping sponsor the debut of the Compacts on May 21. Others groups also involved as a sponsor for the Compacts debut on Saturday May 21 include Lockard’s Body Shop in Jeffersonville, IN and Worrall Carburation and Machine Shop in Clarksville, IN. Bluegrass Speedway would like to thank all these businesses for the help with this event.
Also on the May 21 racing program at Bluegrass Speedway will be the UMP Street Stocks racing for $300 to win and a full racing program as well for the 44 Auto Mart Super Late Models, Country 100.9 MIKE FM UMP Modifieds, and Clayton Homes of Stanford UMP Sportsman.
The general admission area opens at 5:00 p.m., with racing set for the green flag at or before 8:00 p.m. Ticket prices in the general admission area are a very affordable $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12, and free to children under the age of 6.
Bluegrass Speedway is located at 2221 New Haven Road at the intersection of Kentucky Highway 31-E and exit 21 of the Martha Layne Collins (Bluegrass) Parkway. David and Anita Ferrell are the track promoters and present dirt track sports entertainment on Saturday evenings from mid-April through September.
