grooving/siping LF

is there a real need to groove or sipe the LF tire?

On dry slick, about 12 outta 15 nights I get to run or so, I feel the car does better with radial sipes, sipes running around the tire, than without. I put a ton of them on there too on both right and left front tires. As far as grooving many peolpe I know swear by angled groves on the outside edges. They think it gets rid of dust and such from under the tires.
