WRT SpeedWerx Returns as Official Speedweek(s) Photographers in 2011… Gives Back to the Fans with On-Line Discounts for all 3 Speedweeks.
The Appalachian Mountain Speedweek is proud to announce that WRT SpeedWerx has been named the official Photographers of the 2011 Appalachian Mountain Late Model Speedweek for the third year in a row.
WRT SpeedWerx was formed early in 2009 when four of the area’s best photographers joined forces with the idea of giving the fans one place to go on line to view and purchase photos of their favorite drivers at any time, from any place. 2011 saw the roster of photographers expand as Jeff Hertzler & Tom Wingert were brought in to expand the all ready talented group that includes Jason Walls, Loren Carman, Jason McConnell, Travis Trussell, Brian Bouder & Rosann Zimmerman. The eight outstanding shooters make up the photography team of WRT SpeedWerx. At just one location on the web– http://www.wrtspeedwerx.com - fans can view photos, sometimes within hours of the event. On a weekly basis, fans & race teams alike can purchase photos from Williams Grove, Bedford, Port Royal, Winchester, Potomac & Hagerstown Speedways where the talented WRT SpeedWerx team are each tracks official photographers.
For the 2011 Appalachian Mountain Speedweek as well as sprint car’s Keystone Cup and the PA Speedweek viewers will be able to purchase photos online from ANY Speedweek venue. Photos may be purchased though PayPal on the 100% secure site (even if you don’t have a PayPal account) and your purchase will be delivered right to your door by the U.S. Postal Service.
“Having WRT SpeedWerx involved with the speedweek(s) has been an incredible asset” said Appalachian Mtn. Speedweek Competition Director, Kurt Smith. “With so many photographers shooting from different angles, they can practically tell you the story of the race visually through their outstanding eyes. This group works harder at this then anyone I know, and also take a lot of pride in the product they make available. Jason Walls takes care of the web sites and has results & photos up before the sun comes up the next day. Purchasing photos for the fans and team could not be easier. Knowing the WRT SpeedWerx is there covering our events just makes our jobs so much easier and adds a lot of credibility, not just to our series but the motorsports industry in general” added Smith.
WRT SpeedWerx is also pleased to announce a “Speedweeks Special” whereas they will offer an 8x10 print of your favorite driver taken during any event of the 3 series for a low price of $5.00 each. “We wanted to give a little back to the fans, and allow them to buy their photo(s) at a discounted rate” said Jason Walls. “We started this group to offer the fans & teams one place to go for their photos. We also would like to thank all of the area speedways and photographers who are allowing us to come in and cover these tremendous events.
