Richmond Raceway Slings the Clay Again this Saturday, June 4!
RICHMOND, KY (May 30, 2011)-After a great night of racing this past weekend, Richmond Raceway track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett are ready to do it all again this Saturday, June 4 as they present Tackett & Son Plumbing and Electric Night.
For Saturday, June 4 the pit area opens at 5:30 p.m. followed by the grandstand area at 6:30 p.m. A mandatory driver’s meeting will take place at 6:45 p.m. with hot laps set to get underway at 7:15 p.m. Racing begins at approximately 8:00 p.m.
Ticket prices in the grandstand area are $12 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and kids under age 6 are admitted FREE. Pit passes are $25 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and kids under age 6 are also admitted FREE to the pit area.
Richmond Raceway last raced on May 28, feature event winners that night included Victor Lee of Danville, KY in Coyote 100.7 FM Super Late Models, Russ Gabbert of Berea, KY and Shon Flannery of Church Hill, TN in the Open Wheel Modifieds, John Cole of Berea, KY in the Sportsman, Glen Hounshell, Sr. of Berea, KY in the Road Hogs, Mike Swartz of Olympia, KY and Nathaniel Harrison of Corbin, KY in the Four Cylinders.
Current Championship point leaders heading into the June 4 events are Aaron Hatton of Mount Sterling, KY in the Coyote 100.7 FM Super Late Models, Chris Johnson of Winchester, KY in the Open Wheel Modifieds, John Cole of Berea, KY in the Sportsman, Glen Hounshell, Sr. of Berea, KY in the Road Hogs, and Colton Thornsburg of Carlisle, KY in the Four Cylinders.
