United Super DirtCar Series $3000 to Win at Richmond Raceway June 11 Berea, KY- May 30, 2011-

The newly formed United Super DirtCar Series will make its second attempt to debut its inaugural event on Saturday June 11 at the Joey and Tiffany Tackett promoted Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY with the "Rain Dodger 40" event, paying $3,000 to win the 40 lap A-Main event. The debut event for the United Super DirtCar Series at Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY will see a full program of practice, time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 40 lap, $3,000 to win Rain Dodger 40 A-Main event.

Also, Mr. Jeremy Shields with JumpStart Communications will award the USDCS top qualifier with a $100 bonus for their efforts.Window and Door Outlet of Richmond is also giving $50 to the driver with the longest tow and $50 to the highest "A" main finshing driver in Richmond Raceway points. Also in action at Richmond Raceway on June 11 will be the track’s Modified, Sportsman, Road Hog, and Four Cylinder divisions. Activities for the Richmond Raceway event on June 11 will see the pit area open at 4:30 p.m., with the general admission area open at 6:30 p.m. The drivers meeting will take place at 6:45 p.m., with practice set to begin at 7:00 p.m., followed by time trials and racing.

Ticket prices for this event in the general admission area will be $17 for adults, $3 for children ages 6 to 12, and free to children ages 5 and under. A pit pass will be $30. The A-Main payout for the June 11 Richmond Raceway "Rain Dodger 40" event is as follows: 1)$3000, 2)$1500, 3)$1000, 4)$800, 5) $700, 6) $600, 7) $500, 8)$400, 9) $375, 10) $350, 11)$340, 12) $330, 13) $320, 14)$310, 15)$300, 16)$290, 17) $280, 18)$270, 19)$260, 20)$250 to start. All cars not transferring to the A-Main that compete in the B-Main will receive $50 tow money

Transponders will be used at Richmond Raceway at a fee of $25, therefore ,The Series entry fee will be reduced to $40 to absorb some of the cost to the owners and drivers..Some general rules for all USDCS events have the use of RaceCeivers being Mandatory. Drivers must use this device at all times. The tire rules for all USDCS events are as follows: Front- Open Compound; Rear- Hoosier: LM40 or 1600, American Racer- MD56, and Goodyear- 50 (those tires on rear must be stamped and must durometer a minimum of 60 before allowed on the track). Cars that utilize the sealed GM602 or GM604 engine package can use a Hoosier 1350 or American Racer 48 on the left rear only. Car driver weight rules for USDCS events are as follows: GM602 or GM604-2,100 lbs.; FACTORY SEALED GM CT525- 2,200 lbs.; Steel Block- 2,200 lbs.; Open- 2,300 lbs.

A tentative 2011 race schedule is posted on the series webpage, with the next event Scheduled Sunday July 3rd at 191 Speedway in Campton,Ky paying $3000 to win. The schedule will be updated as events are added. they will prolly have around 35 lates should be a good show if they get to race alot of rain forcasted for central ky as of now

Is so many late models going to be locked in to the feature thur qualifying or is every body going to have to run heats? decent price to get in, least cheaper than hardgrove! i like that about it! should get a few late model ky drivers not going to the dream they say that is expensive to go there and i would say so!

ANY SEALED FACTORY MOTOR THAT IS NOT SEALED PROPERLY WITH THE FACTORY SEAL & IN THE PROPER LOCATION (the GM602 or GM604 & the CT525) , WILL BE CONSIDERED AN OPEN MOTOR AND WILL HAVE TO WEIGH 2300lbs.

"NO EXCEPTIONS"

604 - may use one carburetor spacer (1 inch-one piece with .040 tolerance maximum) and two standard paper gaskets (maximum 0.070 inch thick), one gasket between intake to spacer and one gasket between spacer to carburetor.


602 - may use one carburetor spacer (2 inch-one piece with .040 tolerance maximum) and two standard paper gaskets (maximum 0.070 inch thick), one gasket between intake to spacer and one gasket between spacer to carburetor

It looks like the Richmond race is gonna be barn burner with all the Kentucky drivers staying in state and it looks like Tennessee and Georgia will be represented as well....Good Luck to Aaron and the Ridley Motorsports crew.....:cool:

what about spoiler rules. richmond lets steel blocks run a 10 in spoiler.


From the USDCS rules:

A. Rear spoiler must be manufactured of material of adequate strength such as Lexan or Aluminum.
B. Rear spoiler material maximum eight-inch (8”) height measured for deck to tip of material. Maximum seventy-two inch (72”) width.
C. Rear spoiler is not permitted to be suspended above the deck to create a “wing effect”.
D. Rear spoiler must begin where quarter panels end. No extended decks permitted.
E. Maximum of three (3) rear spoiler supports. Option of two (2) additional one inch (1”) aluminum braces.
F. Spoiler supports cannot be mounted wider than the top of the quarter panel.

Thank you for your interest! But all spoilers are required to be 8" tall maximum!
