Morgan Bagley Continues Winning Ways at USA Speedway

Longview, Texas (06/02/11) – Morgan Bagley took his #14m McMillan Motorsports/Rocket By Club 29 Super Late Model into battle in three events over the course of the Memorial Day weekend, and by the time that the final checkered flag dropped on the action, he had a win, three top three finishes, and an extended point's lead to his credit.

Morgan returned to USA Speedway (Sterlington, Louisiana) on Friday night looking to make a clean sweep of the 2011 O'Reilly SUPR tour visits to the facility. When the final checkered flag dropped on the night, he would accomplish his goal.

After starting 7th in his heat race, Bagley would advance to a second place finish, and along the way he earned more passing points than any other driver to start on the pole for the main event. He jumped to the lead at the drop of the green flag and never looked back on his way to the $2,000 win, which came over BJ Robinson and Kevin Sitton.

Fresh off his win from the night before, Morgan travel to Champion Park Speedway (Haughton, Louisiana) on Saturday night for a $2,500 to win, O'Reilly SUPR Super Late Model event. Twenty-seven Super Late Models were on hand, and after advancing from his fourth starting spot to a second place finish in his heat race, Bagley started sixth on the grid for the main event. During the course of the event he would pick off a pair of positions en route to a third place finish behind race winner, BJ Robinson, and Kevin Sitton.

McMillan Motorsports concluded the triple header weekend on Sunday night at Lone Star Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) with another $2,500 to win, O'Reilly Super Late Model race. After winning his heat race, Morgan earned the pole position for the 50 lap feature alongside, Jon Mitchell. Mitchell would get the wholeshot as the race went green, and Bagley would spend the duration of the feature trying to get to the top spot. He would come up short as he registered a second place finish behind Mitchell. Full weekend results are available at www.DirtOnDirt.com.

Overall it was a very successful weekend for the team, and Bagley increased his lead considerably in the chase for the O'Reilly SUPR Super Late Model Championship and Rookie of the Year battle.
