Seems most popular is 5/8 offset, have seen over an inch, and also 3/8 inch offset. Do builders have a rhyme of reason to this? What would be the benefit of offsetting farther left or right besides the obvious shifting of left/right weight percentages? I'm assuming the farther left would hold the left front down, but would slow the transfer of weight when the track really slicks off and not be as good in the slick? Just looking for thoughts on this, since so many different builders have a different preference. Thanks.
