RINGGOLD KID RIDES AGAIN PART 3... BOYD's LM WINNER JAMIE PERRY

Ringgold (6/3/11) --- Former Souther All-Star Series Champion Jamie Perry of Ringgold, Georgia shot-up the Late Model competition for the 3rd time this season, Friday night at Boyd's Speedway on the Tennessee/Georgia boarder. The RINGGOLD KID (dubbed that about 20-yrs ago) put on a stout performance again taking the lead from veteran Lamar Scoggins using a BOTTOM-FEEDER move on the 1st lap of the 25-lap "A" Main Feature race. Scoggins and Perry have duelled it out plenty of time this season and share close numbers in the win column, battling for the nights $1,000 payday for the first place prize. The #P4 "Stealth Racing Carburator, Heatherly Bros Roofing & Construction, Hamilton Outdoor Sports Shop, Anderson Bros., Ringgold Service Center, Outlaw Graphics" sponsored GRT / Chuck Smith (Racetek) racecar worked underneath Scoggins after starting the race from the inside 2nd row. From there, Perry built up an extensive lead over the entire field. "As always Rodney hands me the keys to a great racecar... from Heatherly to Smith all my guys really put forth a 100% effort everytime we hit the track." stated Perry Saturday. The two-time Cleveland Speedway Track Champion and 1999 S.A.S series champ has only made showings at his home track, Boyd's for action on Friday nights this season. "We've got a big SLM motor and plan to race elsewhere, but here the Harvey's and Gar have something special and we're glad to support them." Perry mentioned also car-owner Billy Fryar and his Hall of Fame father (Cotton Perry) for their efforts in getting the team to the track on a regular basis.
