Macon Speedway along with Lincoln Speedway, and Track Enterprises have a very busy week planned starting tomorrow.
Tomorrow night the Annual Lite Beer Twin 50's will take place at the Mighty Macon Speedway. 50 laps for the UMP Late Models as well as 50 Laps for the UMP Modifieds plus a full program of all of the other Macon Speedway Divisions.
Then on Tuesday June 14th the Lincoln Speedway host the Nascar Night of Stars featuring Nascar drivers Kenny Wallace and Ken Schrader. Both Schrader and Wallace will be competing in their UMP Modifieds and signing autographs after the races in the pit area. Also on the racing card will be the UMP Late Models and the UMP Pro (crate) Late Models.
On Wednesday June 15th Peoria Speedway will play host to a Nascar Night of Stars with Kenny Wallace and Ken Schrader once again appearing and racing their UMP Modifieds against the some of the best Modifieds drivers in the midwest. Also racing with the Modifieds will be the UMP Late Models and the Peoria Speedway 4 Cylinder Hornets.
On Thursday June 16th its back to Lincoln Speedway for the first night of the Building Systems of Illinois Mini Sprint Nationals. The race series will feature the POWRi 600 cc Micro Sprints. Also on the racing card will be the UMP Pro Late Models, UMP Modifieds, the UMP Street Stocks and the UMP 4 Cylinder Hornets.
On Friday june 17th The Building Systems of Illinois Mini Sprint Nationals moves to Macon Speedway for night 2. Over 100 cars are expected to take part in this 3 day series. Also on the racing card at Macon will the (for the first time ever) the UMP Pro Late Models, along with the UMP Modifeds, the Pro and Amateur hornets and the High School Hornets.
On Saturday June 18th the big finale of the series will take place. The POWRi Micros will start 33 cars in 11 rows of 3 wide. That alone should be a sight to see. Also joining the Mini Sprints will be the POWRi midgets, the UMP Modifieds, the UMP Sportsman, and the UMP Street Stocks.
