is anybody running composite leaf springs on a floated rear camaro ? do they help?

Just remember that composite leaf springs are linear. You usually will use a bigger spring than you would of with a progressive steel leaf style. You don't want to flatten out the springs. Remember that the arch in the spring contributes greatly to the side bite .

Not sure if I would want to try it. Myself I wouldn't take a chance.

I tried some last year and they had excellent fade free bite. BUT, I only got a chance to run them for heat race. They will not take a lateral hit. I got a small tap in the left rear that wasn't even enough to spin me out and the left rear spring shattered. Sold the RR spring and went back to steel. Definitely felt better but too expensive to replace if one breaks.

Stay as far away from them as possible. Unless your car is really light they are not going to hold up. I called flex-form and talked to them directly, gave them all my #s and percentages and put on exactly what they recommended, and the right rear broke in half in 6 laps.
