Richmond Raceway Cancels Racing for this Saturday, June 18
RICHMOND, KY (June 18, 2011)-Mother Nature has claimed another victory at Richmond Raceway this Saturday, June 18 making it the sixth rainout thus far in 2011. Heavy rains and strong storms hit the area early Saturday morning and with more rain forecasted throughout the day, track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett were left with no choice but to cancel tonight’s events.
A rescheduled date has not been discussed. At this time our next event will be the 24th Annual Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge Memorial Tune-Up on Saturday, July 9. For a complete list of upcoming event visit the Official Website of Richmond Raceway at www.richmond-raceway.net
