Tyler County Speedway Launches www.blackdiamond125.com Website.
(Mars, PA) As the excitement starts to build for the nation’s coolest crown jewel event – “The Black Diamond 125 & UFo WV State Championship,” Tyler County Speedway has launched a brand-new website dedicated to the race. Race fans and race teams will be able to find complete information on this $180,000 mega-event immediately as it is released.
The official event website location is http://www.blackdiamond125.com. The website will include full event information including the payoff, schedule of events, event news, ticket prices, advance ticket sales, a pre-entry list, lodging and camping as well as historical event results. Each piece of information will be added to the website as it is released in the future.
“The Black Diamond 125 & UFo WV State Championship” is the most unique crown jewel event ever, scheduled for Thursday-Friday-Satruday, Septemeber 1-2-3. The 2010 version generated one of the highest Super Late Model car counts of the year. Its massive $180,000 total payoff is designed to pay out more money to more race teams. The weekend is highlighted by 5 total late model features including 4 Super Late Model features and a FASTRAK Pro-Late championship. TSMA E-mods & Hot Mods, Mod-Lites. Eco-Flyers and Mini-Wedges are also included in the racing schedule, with all of the late model racing scheduled in prime-time.
The Super Late Model total payoff is over $157,000 for 2 days. A total of $48,000 will be paid out to the 4 Super Late Model feature winners, with 1 driver able to take home up to $38,000. The payoff goes deep into the field with a driver racing in 3 features over the 2 days earning a minimum of $2,000. The 48th place driver at the “Black Diamond 125” on Saturday will be paid $1,000. Any Super Late Model driver that attends both days of racing and makes 1 lap on the track each day, will be paid a minimum of $250.
The 1st major announcement for the 2011 version of the event is that NO Super Late Model car entry fee will be charged to drivers that pre-enter by Monday, August 15. The official event entry blank with the full payoff will be released in the very near future. Super Late Model entry fee after August 15 will be $200. “The Black Diamond 125 and UFo WV State Championship” is offering one of the biggest payoffs in the nation WITHOUT reducing the actual race team payoff with the use of entry fees!

The UFo Race Championship is an event marketing alliance among independent supertracks in the PA-WV-MD region. Participating speedways presents their own championship Super Late Model events under the UFo banner throughout the season using common tech and procedure rules with a year-end, group funded, point bonus for the top finishing drivers on the tour.
