The SRRS, STARS Midwest Dirt Racing League, and STARS Volunteer Racing Series are teaming up to sanction a $5,000 to win event at Wartburg Speedway on July 1st.
The event will feature the Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) payout and format. Officials from each of the STARS MDRL, STARS VRS and SRRS will be handling race direction.
Tire rule for the event:
Open Front and Rear: Hoosier LM40/1600 or American Racer MD-56 with those tires punching 60 before hitting the racing surface.
The Super Late Model entry fee that night is $100 and Transponder Rental Fee will be $20.00.
That night will feature the SRRS Group Qualifying/Lock-In and run Heats format with 18 cars coming from qualifying heats and then 6 provisionals making up the 24-car field with each the STARS MDRL, STARS VRS and SRRS having 2 series points starting provisionals. Each car that doesn’t make the field will receive the $50.00 Tow Money.
Pit Gates open at 3:30 p.m.
Grandstand Gates opening at 5:00 p.m.
Hot Laps slated for 7:15 p.m.
