Scott Creel Records Top Five Finish in MSCCS Action

Franklinton, Louisiana (06/22/11) –Scott Creel was in action with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) tour on Saturday night in his #31 Voodoo Motorsports/Creel Brothers/Bloomquist/Pro Power Super Late Model as he raced his way to a top five finish.

Voodoo Motorsports traveled to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Saturday night for a $2,500 to win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model event at the 1/4 mile oval. With nineteen cars entered into the event, the night would not start as well as Creel had hoped as he was able to manage only the 13th starting spot for the 50 lap feature via preliminary action.

Despite starting midpack, he would mount a great charge in the feature as he methodically worked his way through the field. By the time that the checkered flag dropped, he was credited with a fourth place finish behind race winner, Chad Thrash, Klint Byars, and Dane Dacus. Full results are available at www.StateSeries.com.
