Morgan Bagley Gets First COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Win

Sterlington, Missouri (06/24/11) – Longview, Texas driver, Morgan Bagley, has been no stranger to victory lane at USA Speedway (Sterlington, Louisiana) in 2011, but he did enter unchartered territory on Friday night as he claimed his first career COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) at the ¼ mile oval.

With 24 Super Late Models entered, it was Bossier City, Louisiana driver, Trey Beene, who earned JFR Graphics Pole Position for the $2,000 to win, 35 lap feature. He was flanked to the outside by Bagley, and as the race went green it would be Bagley, who jumped to the lead with Beene, Ian Samuals, Johnny Virden, and Timothy Culp in tow.

With passing coming at a premium in the feature it would be Bagley, who led flag-to-flag in the caution free event to claim his first career tour win, and his fourth special event win of the season at the track. He was followed across the line by Trey Beene, Timothy Culp, Johnny Virden, and Jon Mitchell.

The Rocket Chassis First Heat was won by Trey Beene with Morgan Bagley winning the RacingJunk.com Second Heat Race, Ian Samuals winning the Woodco, Inc. Third Heat Race, and Johnny Virden topping the Racing Head Service Fourth Heat Race.

The Boston’s Sports Bar & Grill B-main was won by Stacey Taylor.
