USCS Winged Outlaw Sprint Cars set to Storm Thunderhill Raceway
Summertown, TN (06/26/2011) – The United Speed Contest Sanctioned (USCS) Winged Outlaw Sprint cars will be in action this weekend July 2, 2011 at Thunderhill Raceway (Summertown, TN).
The 700 horse powered USCS winged sprint cars will bring the thunder to Thunderhill Raceway for the first time this season with speeds in the excess of 100 plus miles per hour and side by side racing action. The USCS were set to appear earlier this season on May 21st but a rain out ceased their appearance.
Along with the sprint cars racing will be the super late models, limited late models, Openwheel modified, modified streets, street stocks, mini stocks and Openwheel mini modified. Also in celebration with the Fourth of July and honoring the men and women of service, fireworks will be displayed at intermission.
General Admission will be $20 and Pit passes will be $30, Kids 12 and under free accompanied by an adult. Gates will open at 5 pm, Drivers meeting at 6:45 pm, Hot Laps at 7 pm and Racing starts at 7:30 pm.
