I run the chrysler screw ins on all cars. I just buy the weld in threaded ring and weld it in! You have to be real real careful to not over heat the ring. It will warp very easily. If spindle is the smaller taper, no problem. Just run a tapered reamer through it to bring to size. Lefthander chassis sells al this stuff.

Thanks for the info. I just figured out that afco makes a tapered sleeve to put on the grt press in joint. I was wondering about the threaded sleeve, if it would fit in the hole. but i really dont want to mess up the lower control because i might bo back to what i have on there now. I have widened the right front but i was wondering about using a shorter spindle to get rid of my cars crazy upper control arm angles. Running a 604 right now instead of super motor

Afco #20036 (Moog #727) Screw in
Afco #20038 (Moog #6117) Press in
Both of these lower ball joints have the same tapered stud.
