Tom Wilson was a real good representative for the sport of racing, it is only fitting that the Walls have this race every year in his honor.
$5,000 to win, $1,000 to start, this race has to be one of the best paying races in A Mod racing. Twenty four of the best hot rod modifieds in this part of America fired off Sunday night at CMS.
Of coarse mother nature had to put in her two cents worth with an afternoon shower just to throw a little drama into the field of races trying to qualify for the starting field.
By feature time the track was in good shape but the front row pole sitter had the attention of all in the a-main.
Kelly Shyock was the man running the race in first place from green to checkered. Behind Shyock several battles were waged for just about every position in the race.
Settle in, grab a sandwich and drink and enjoy the Tom Wilson Memorial Bar-B-Q Bowl.
