We recently went from the ar g-60 tire to the hoosier g-60 the same track, same car, same set up and it seems like we lost side bite. Do we need to run different air psi, or different springs, or different j-bar split?

You might have to run higher air pressures, maybe a couple more pounds. Good luck.

just hope everyone else has the same problem. just kidding. I tried a set on the rear in a heat race and the car was complete junk, put my AR's back on and the car was great. More air pressure might work. i think they roll over on the side wall more so thats one thing that might help. But i would try more RR spring to get the side bite back. Might need to try something different with the pull bar spring too for forward bite.

Did the switch a few years back and the hoosier is a harder compound and it only has a 2ply sidewall.we run about 2 psi more pressure all the way around.and yes they do fall off performance wise after a couple nights.they last longer if they get LIGHTLY buffed (JUst enough to turn them darker)my pressure are 12lbs lf,15 to 17lbs rf 10 to 12 lr and 12 to 14 rr (have a 12.5lbs min rule on rr)higher pressures for rougher tracks or for stagger purposes.hope this helps.
