Todd Hall Returns to Action with CCSDS at NEA Speedway this Saturday

Charleston, MO (07/14/11) – Todd Hall will take his #99 FTS Logistics/Mastersbilt/ Russell Baker Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle this Saturday night at Northeast Arkansas Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS).

Todd Hall Motorsports was last in action two weeks ago on July 1st-2nd as the team traveled to West Plains Motor Speedway (West Plains, Missouri) for a doubleheader, which saw the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) and Mid American Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Model tours going head-to-head in a $2,500 to win event on Friday night. Twenty-eight cars were on hand, and after falling short of locking into the feature event via heat race action, Hall would win his b-main to start 16th in the 25 lap feature.

In the main event he would pass five cars on his way to an eleventh place finish at the checkered flag. For his efforts he would earn the Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger Award.

Todd entered the second night of the CCSDS/MARS doubleheader on Saturday night, July 2nd at West Plains Motor Speedway (West Plains, Missouri) as 28 cars once again were on hand. With a $3,000 to win/$450 to start purse on the line, Hall started the night by charging from fourth to second in his heat race to lock into the fifth starting spot for the main event. For the majority of the event Todd ran in the fourth position and had begun to catch the battle for the second position, when his right rear tire gave up on him, and he faded two spots to a sixth place finish. Overall it was a great weekend for the team, and gives them something to build on for the remainder of the season. Full results are available at www.COMPDirt.com.

This Saturday, July 16th the team will return to action at Northeast Arkansas Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series. The 35 lap event will pay $2,000 to win and $400 to start around the 1/4 mile oval. For more information, please visit www.NEASpeedway.com and www.COMPDirt.com .
