I am a die hard race fan but 110 temps will keep me home the bleachers will blister your A$$, It will hard on fans drivers and cars

Just wondering what will the Ponderosa staff do

not going to be no hotter that last weekend if they would cancell that would pretty much do everyone with ponderosa people complain when it rains tracks out then they complain when its sunny and hot maybe the a.c. spoiled them

Call a race because it's to hot, haha that's the funniest thing i've ever heard. It's never to hot at a race track. :cool: You either like the racing and going to sweat through it or ya don't.

Bloomington & gas city have already called off the races for friday. I think they don't want to take a chance with people in the stands $$ and someone having a heat stroke.

I agree ... With this heat there are gonna be alot of people dropping like flies :(

I have seen races with 38 deg. 20 miles an hour north winds, with snow I will take the heat anytime over the cold, you folks that can't stan the heat, get you a wet towel around your neck will help until sun goes down, then all is well. Let go Dirt Track Racing!!
