I sit in the grandstands every week and wonder why kkk doesn't get latemodels like they used to.what's going on?seems like the latemodels ain't worth seeing anymore.and the best thing I seen tonight was the flagman racing a latemodel.

Probably just the heat. There were 17 LM at FCR and I don't think any of them would be considered regulars at KCS. I saw Spatola was at Lincoln. Were there any other KCS regulars their?

Only 18 lates started at Hartford Michigan for a $4700 to win feature with Jeep winning it last night. Great fast track with low car counts every week. Easy track to get to just off of I-94. Think the price of gas has something to do with it?

Hard Charger - 10 Scott Schmitt +6 Definately not the car count or drivers list there used to be.I made it to Ill. 2 sometimes 3 times a year either Kankakee or LaSalle and remember 25 lates at least.Provenzano is the only name I recognize there even then its different I remember lil John. One thing is alot of the Illinois drivers are traveling some have retired or just quit.I heard a few weeks ago Bryan Dunaway might be running a few shows now that would be cool

Was a good race though. If you told me Schmitt was going to win it, after they ran the first few laps, I'da thought you was crazy. I'll take that over a full field were the winner leads from wire to wire anyday.

Looked to me like they were pushing the berm too hard after the last restart. Morris and Piano both fell off the lead, setting up the battle between point leaders Provenzano and Schmitt. I didn't see where Schmitt deserved the post race "love tap". Did he earn it, or was that classic Provenzano temper?
