Orrville, Ohio (July 24, 2011) After two weeks into the 2011 racing season at Wayne County Speedway the racing has been exciting and action packed with last lap passes and late race heroics. Officials look to see the trend continue as week three is next on tap at the 3/8 mile speed plant.
General Manager Jason Flory has released the start times for the Saturday July 30th show. “With the addition of the Tri-State Modifieds we are looking to get started a little early” stated Flory. The pit gates will open at 3:30 PM and the grand stands will open at 4:30 PM. Hot laps will start at 6:00 PM and racing at 7:00 PM sharp. “So far the racing has been great here at WCS, we want to bring this girl back to her hay day” Flory continued. “All of our divisions have been great and with the addition of the Tri-State Modifieds our July 30th should be another good one.” General admission for adults $10.00, twelve and under admitted free and pit pass $30.00.
And don't forget this coming Saturday WCS will be selling raffle tickets for Jac Haudenschild's wing from our July 8th show. Come out and see if you can own a piece of history. WCS Owner Joe Mcllvaine has announced all proceeds will go to People to People, here in Wayne County. Tickets are $1.
