Last weekend the track I was at was extremely slicked off from top to bottom by the end of hot laps. I run an 02 warrior and had absolutely zero bite compared to everyone else. I kinda got to thinking about running a straight panhard bar on the left side of pinion to try and make side bite. Anyone ever try this and will it work with those track conditions or is it way too dramatic? The track is a 3/8 mile semi banked track.

Need more info on your set up. And is your car an over rail or underslung. I always ran rf 5/7 375, lf 5/3 550, rr 3/5 225 or (250 for more side bite),lr 8/2 225, the lift bar at 38" 3/7 with 300. 18 1/4 j bar at 8 1/4 from bottom frame & all the way down on the pinion. Left side % 54. Rear at 55 to 56 with 120 to 150lbs of bite. The lr top bar top hole the bottom bar in the bottom hole. Rr top bar standard hole the bottom bar 1 hole up from bottom. This is what I ran in the slick and it was good.

A short bar loads the lr more. It wont produce more sidebite.

Often less is more in the extreme no traction. Reduce rear steer and don't over load the left rear.
