I have a 07 hoffman car. I can get in the corner good with good side bite car is not tight turns in good and thru the center but it has no traction fron the apex to about 100 foot before the flag stand. From about the 100 foot before the flag stand to where i start decelerating the car is hooked up and a rocket! I roll into the throttle not busting the tires loose just little to no traction.

it is 4 bar LR floated spring behind shock in front. RR is 2 link spring on top shock behind. Chevelle clip. Springs are LF-550 RF-600 LR-175 RR-200. slick track integra gas shock package. spring progressive pullbar with a 600-1200 spring. pullbar is centered up on the rear end. ive got about 50 degrees upper lr angle at full extension. my lr lower is about 9 degrees at ride height and my rr link is about level at ride height. 4.5 inches of jbar rake. rear end side to side location is on what chassie manufacture specs call for. im just trying to figure out what to do to get some more side bite and traction from the center out....

Whats the pull bar angle? Short or long pull bar?

Might try a little more angle. I've been told that the rule of thumb is more angle means hooks quicker but doesn't last as long and less angle takes longer to hook up but lasts longer.

i have the most possible angle to put in it... highest point on rearend and lowest point on chassie.

Back the 50 degrees of bar down to no more than 44. I would try lower than that maybe 38-40 first

Either by limiting the travel with a chain or taking angle out of bar

Maybe check preload on the pullbar. Also what gear ratio in rear?

If your rules allow, try a straight short panhard bar with about 6in of rake. Good luck.

Read your post again and you have the same setup, other than a little difference on the spring rates, and pull bar as i have on my DW-8. Bar angles,4bar left, 2 link right, shock and spring locations all the same. I also run a 1050 pullbar with 1/2 in preload. I had the same issues that you are having on dry slick tracks and a good buddy of mine said to try dropping the LUB one hole on the birdcage. It made a huge difference on my car on the amount of forward drive from the center off. Good Luck

How much lr bite do you have. Also you need to put the 175 or maybe a 150 on the RR with the spring on top of the housing.

might try moving pullbar to left. lowering the lrl bar might give a little more index and more lr bite as well.

How are the tires looking/temp?
how much trail?

How much drop in LR? hoffmans are known for wanting to flip over. I limited mine down to about 4.25in top bar is at about 48 full extended.

I am on 4-4 floated. i would suggest getting on that if its i the budget.
