(Shreveport, Louisiana is the center of the universe for this look at the schedule as of 7/27.)

Lots of Late Model racing both near and far yet to go...

This WE, 7/29-30:

$10,400 up to 2 winners on Fri & Sat in north Alabama at the Shoals Shocker 50 and the Michael Head, Jr. Memorial.
COMP Cams SDS double header at USA-Sterlington & Texarkana. We've started calling USA, 'Morgan Bagley Speedway'. He's 4 for 4 there. 3 SUPR & 1 CCSDS.
MSCCS & SUPR have races at Whynot & Baton Rouge on Saturday.

8/5-6

MSCCS & COMP Cams both have double headers. MSCCS at Hattiesburg & Jackson, CCSDS at Malden & I-30.
SUPR in Leesville, LA. Big crowd there for last SUPR race on 7/1.

8/12-13

Lucas Oil Late Model Series have a bunch of big shows coming up and it starts with the $50G to win North-South 100 in Florence, KY.
CCSDS continues a busy stretch with races at Beebe & West Plains and it's SUPR vs. PRO at Greenville on Saturday.

8/19-20

$40,000 to win LOLMS Topless 100 takes center stage in Batesville.
SUPR visits Chatham, LA while PRO, CCSDS & MSCCS are all off.

8/25-27

SUPR's 4th straight Saturday night race in August comes at a great track: Battleground Speedway. It's the only Late Model race in Sprint happy Houston this year!
LOLMS has 3 straight $10,000-to-wins in NE Tenn, south Indiana & Kentucky.

9/2-4

SUPR has a triple-header at Sterlington, LA, Greenville, MS and Minden, LA. The last Minden SUPR race was a great race won by Morgan Bagley on 7/2.
LOLMS shoot for $35G on Sat & Sun in Portsmouth, Ohio.

9/9-10

It's World 100 weekend! $44,000 to win up at Tony's place. Last I heard, Team Childress from Louisiana was headed back to Eldora for another visit.
Couple of Patriot Day shows in rememberence of 9-11-01 on Saturday with SUPR at Lone Star (Last Late Model race there in 2011) and the $5G to win All-American 50 at Jackson.
The Rockabilly 50 is 2-day CCSDS show in Harrisburg, AR that also pays $5G to win.

9/16-17

SUPR goes for $3500 at Texas Motor Speedway's 2nd and final dirt track event of 2011 on Saturday only. Will Vaught won there in March. Last SUPR race until the LA State Championship in mid-October but barring rainouts, that'll make 10 straight weekends of SUPR racing -- all Saturday solos except for Labor Day weekend.
World of Outlaw Late Models come as close as they're going to get with 2 shows around St. Louis including Ken Schrader's I-55 Raceway in Pevely.

9/22-24

Magnolia State 100 for $20,000 to win at the 'Baddest Bullring in the South', Columbus Speedway on Fri-Sat in Mississippi.
LOLMS goes for $30G in a Paducah Thursday make-up date & Brownstown's Jackson 100. That starts a stretch of $94,000 to win over 6 races, 7 nights in a 9-day stretch for Lucas Oil!

9/27-10/2

After a $10G to win Tuesday show in Illinois, LOLMS has the Knoxville Late Model Nationals with $54,000 up for grabs Thurs-Sat.
MSCCS has a $3000 to win season finale at Jackson on Saturday while Phenix City, AL has $10,000 to win for a Sat-Sun show.

10/7-9

$5000 to win for the Late Model part of the 2nd annual Dueces Wild weekend in Chatham, LA on Fri-Sat (also pays $5G 2win in Mods!).
CCSDS has their 2011 finale at the Mid South Championship in West Memphis on Saturday.
LOLMS have a pair of $10G to wins in Georgia on Sat & Sun.

10/12-15

Magnolia Motor Speedway's Cotton Pickin' 100 for $15,000 is Fri-Sat in Columbus, MS.
SUPR's 2011 finale pays a combined $3500 on Fri-Sat in Baton Rouge.

WoO has a Wednesday $10,000 to win at Charlotte as part of NASCAR week festivities.
The big one is the WDTC at KC Raceway in Ohio for $50,000 to win, Thur-Sat -- the Lucas Oil season finale.

10/21-22

Whynot's $15,000-to-win Fall Classic where I got to see Brian Birkhoffer win an excellent race last year at Rodney Wing's house outside Meridian, MS! It's looking like the place to be again this year too.

10/28-29

Spooky 50 in Chatham, LA - details TBA, unsanctioned.

11/2-5

PRO's finale is the Gumbo Nationals at Greenville, MS for $7000 to win on Fri & Sat.
WoO has a Wednesday $10G to win make up on the Georgia coast before heading to Charlotte for their 2011 World Finals, Thur-Sat. Big money for Late Models, Sprint Cars & east coast 'big block' DIRT Modifieds.

11/11-13

National 100 in Phenix City, AL pays $25,000 to win.
