The ULTIMATE Super Late Model event at Wythe Raceway has been postponed tonight due to a 70% forecast of rain. "We have been on the phone since 7:00 am and made the decision to.postpone it to another date" stated Stan Lester of the ULTIMATE Series. "Fred Brown and I both agree that in the state of the current economy and $4.00 a gallon fuel the best thing we could do was to let everyone know asap".
" We have been watching this all week" said Fred Brown of Wythe Raceway. "We decided friday if the percentage was over 50% chance of rain then we would postpone the ULTIMATE part of the event. No need in fans traveling from all over the East Coast then going home empty handed. Not to mention the teams".
The local show is still on the schedule for tonight as those teams are local to the area.
