Hey guys,

Want to get the consensus on pull bars. Currently I"m running a biscuit bar. But contemplating on switching over to a progressive spring pull bar. Any pros/cons?

Have had good luck with both types. Biscuit bar not so much in the slick, good when tacky. Progressive spring which we use now works good in all conditions. However need to watch how much travel you get. We preload ours for about 2 inches.

I agree with Darkstar,I couldn't have said it any better than he did.

Can you run the spring bars without a 90/10 shock?

You can but,I have seen pullbars break no shock and your going to tear up some stuff,a dummy shock or a small cable in place of the shock would be the safe thing to do,just make sure the cable is long enuff so it don't affect rearend rotation.

The main difference in a spring verses a bushing pullbar is the rate of progressiveness.A bushing pullbar is a lot more progressive in rate which doesnt allow the pinion to move as far. They cannot make a spring that gets as stiff as a bushing without being too stiff to start with.
