Ponderosa Speedway “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring”

2011 Official Press Release This coming Friday at “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” August 5th will be The 9th Annual John Bradshaw Memorial race. The event will bring 3 divisions to action which will all be competing for big prizes. The Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Model division will be running for $3,000 to win and $250 start money. This years race will be a 40 lap event.
The second division competing this Friday will the Ken Towery’s Auto Care and Super Service Open Wheel Modifieds for $1,000 to win with $75 start money. The Ken Towery’s Auto Care and Super Service Open Wheel modifieds will race for 25 laps. The final division in action this Friday will be the D&D Pallet Recyclers Sportsman. This race will be run for $1,000 to win and also $75 to start. The D&D Pallet Recyclers Sportsman will run for 20 laps.
This Fridays event will have entry fee’s for all divisions competing. The Super late Model entry fee will be $50. The Open Wheel Modifieds and Sportsman will have a $25 entry fee for the race. Pit admission for this Friday will be $35 and Grandstand will be set at $20. Pit gates are scheduled to be open at 4:00 and grandstand at 5:00.The drivers meeting will kick off at 7:00 with hot laps to start at 7:15. Qualifying for the 9th Annual John Bradshaw Memorial will be at 7:45 with races starting at 8:00.

Also Schaeffer oil will at the track this friday night giving away a case of oil to a lucky fan and driver. They will also be sponsoring the nights events.

pay back sucks goes from 1000.00 to 2nd 300.00 3rd 250.00 4th 200.00 etc.
never saw payback drop so much from 1000 to 300 thats crazy

last week went in the hole!!!!!

if he races he should know that is not worth the time and effort to race there with that payout.

plus the track sucked what the hell was you thinking all that water on the track
it was probably race ready about tuesday of this week!!!!

fuel for truck = 100.00
fuel for racecar = 85.00
hope nothing breaks or have to go to parts truck for parts not including the ones that go to the stands at 20.00 a person 1000.00 to only one winner second place 300.00 to win if you dont win you are already in the hole just by finishing second technically in the hole before you start.
