we run a 2.5 dakota on asphalt and having a problem getting it to rev over 4000.Motor is new rebuild,350 holley,running stock dist and computor.Head is whacked 80.It just doesn't seem to want to pull.Are you guys having any problems?Is there another dist system we should try?Any other intake(has to be stock)?This is the spare motor as the first one done the same thing.

is taht all u wacked off ur head?> cuz you shuld be taking like 150 off her u got like 38 deg advance? dont worry bout base timin just make shur u got 36-38 say at 3k or better. did u get a cam sproket to adv. cam timin? cuz when u mill the head u gotta adv. cam timin. u cna use a ford tfi module w stock dissy, its purty ez to do.

Can you give me a heads up on how to wire in a TFi?I think that would take care of our problem

idk id just get wiring diag. of both and see how to go. u'd use the dissy to 3 prongs that would plug into the ford dissy connected to the HEP on the mopar dissy. purty hard to try to explane on hear. or u could use a 1980 omni 1.7 ign module itll work just fine with 2.5 dissy.
