FASTRAK Brings the “Shriners 40” David Pritchett Memorial to Toccoa Speedway
The FASTRAK late model series will make its way to the Toccoa Speedway on Saturday August 6th for the 2nd annual “Shriners 40” and in addition this time will be held as “The David Pritchett Memorial”. The series regulars will take on the local experts for the $2000 to win cash prize.
“I’m excited about being back at Toccoa” said series founder Stan Lester. “Toccoa Speedway had one of the very first FASTRAK events when FASTRAK started in 2004 and going back there is like home. This series was created locally right down the road in the small town of Carnesville GA so the series itself really belongs to the local fans. It’s because of their continued support FASTRAK continues to grow even in the state of the economy we are in today”.
FASTRAK brings about exciting racing with double file restarts, fireworks, fan drawings for throwing the green flag for the main event and also to ride in the pace truck during the infamous 4 wide salute to the fans.
In addition to the FASTRAK late models, the limited late models, modified street and the 4 cylinder classes will be running that night as well. Those classes will be receiving big check in victory lane stating the “Shriners 40 David Pritchett Memorial”.
Grandstands will open at 5:30 with hot laps scheduled to take place at 7:30. Grandstand admission is $18 but be sure to look for the $3 coupons throughout the Toccoa, Carnesville, Lavonia areas starting Thursday at local merchants. Coupons are good for grandstands only.
