That my friend is a F A C T !- Ya know...as I sit here and watch the other tracks function with some form of direction....Ponderosa continues to slide away into the depths of hell. The history of this track alone should be the saving grace of it's current state- however, continued actions like this will put Ponderosa Out Of Business sooner than later. I think we all need to say a prayer in hopes of getting this place at least a chance with promotion it deserves. Donnie-if ya cannot do it...Fine with us...and that will be OK! You can continue to come to the track, watch racing, be a patron or driver or whatever....but this needs to stop and stop soon. Get this race track in the hands of the people whome will give justice to this place. Nothing personal....you have tried best you can-but I must say, Ponderosa is not even close to being back to where it was. This was not posted to be "mean" as some decide they have to do to get their point across...Instead, this is simply stating facts. You are a nice enough individual to be involved in racing on whatever level you decide is best for you-but promoter of a track is something that needs to be in hands that are capable of getting this track where it needs to be on a weekly basis. At this time- It is not. When this happens- teh racers and fans will return, Right now! Racers, Team Owner,Fans and Potential new fans are too confused as to whether they want to spend their money at the Pond...and frankly I cannot blame them. You have done what you could....but we need to get this moving forward instead of watching the local and regional racing at the Pond slip away.

Not to sound mean, but I can't remember a time in the recent past when this place was better than it is now. Mr. Sullivan has the say of the track and is actively trying to improve on what he see's fit. As far as we as fans are concerned you either give him you're business and go on or don't support what you don't like. I don't think its all about the promotion of that track I think its the economical shape of that area, just look at Bardstown.

Good Late Model feature, Eric Wells won. 1 caution, on a dry slick track. Also there was Mike Marlar, Rohn Moon, Brad Neat. Some good Lucas Oil drivers.
