Looking for the best carb out there for a 604. Track is a 3/8ths mile and very dry slick. Looking for someone i can give all the info ( octane, headers, etc.) and they send me carb to bolt on, ready to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm surprised nobody has suggested Willy's. I've seen them recommended in the past and we were thinking of trying one.

Willies is just an way over priced carb that is no where near as good as a true racing carb. All they do is put there metering blocks on and charge you double. If you dyno them to a good carb you will soon see that they suck.

I have seen several engine builders that ONLY use Willys and the engines win A LOT so there must be something to them.

depends on the fuel you plan to run, my choice has been willy's since i had nothing but problems with my other high buck carb, the the builder remain nameless. anybody want to buy a cheap black carb lol.....

If your refering to a Stealth bring it to Sharon this week and I will gladly buy it.

we sell "black" carbs every day and have very little problem and zero complaints because when there is the rare performance issue it is corrected immediatly

Braswell, it is a no brainer. and you are right about the Willys, they are junk. Put a Braswell on the dyno after we optimized the willys and picked up 20 horse out of the box. fine tuned it to about 24 horse. Again a no brainer the best out there.

We've ran Willy's and Braswell's in the past, and both have been good carbs. Bill H loved using Willy's and that is what got us on them!! I agree, there are a lot of DLM races won with Willy's, so calling them junk might be a little overboard!! IMO
