COMP Cams Super Dirt Series at Beebe Postponed by Rain
Beebe, Arkansas (08/12/11) – The antagonist of the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) has reared its ugly head again as rain has once again effected the tour. Friday night, August 12th's event at Beebe Speedway (Beebe, Arkansas) has been rained out due to persistent rain through the week. The event has been rescheduled for Friday, August 26th, and is now part of a double header weekend, which will see last weekend's rained out event from Malden Speedway (Malden, Missouri) held on Saturday, August 27th.
The event for this Saturday, August 13th at West Plains Motor Speedway (West Plains, Missouri) is still on as scheduled. On Saturday night, August 13th, the tour will co-sanction an event with the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Models in a $3,000-to-win/$400-to-start, 40 lap event at West Plains Motor Speedway (West Plains, Missouri). The two tours went head-to-head at the facility earlier this year as Jesse Stovall and RC Whitwell each picked up wins. USRA Open Wheel Modifieds, Super Stocks, Hobby Stocks, and B-Mods will also be on the program. Adult grandstand admission is $18 with pit passes $35. Gates open at 5:00pm with hot laps at 7:00pm, and racing action slated for 7:30pm. For more information, please visit www.WestPlainsDirt.com.
