Fan Appreciation Night at Richmond Raceway this Saturday, August 20; Reduced General Admission!

RICHMOND, KY (August 15, 2011)-As the 2011 season nears an end, Richmond Raceway track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett gear up for another eventful night of entertainment with their annual Fan Appreciation Night this Saturday, August 20!

Fans will have the opportunity to meet their favorite drivers, get autographs, and take lots of photos when the drivers and cars are brought to the front stretch for a special meet and great session.

In addition to the fan appreciation festivities that are on tap, a full program of racing is scheduled for all classes including the Coyote 100.7 FM Super Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, Sportsman, Road Hogs, and Four Cylinders.

For Saturday, August 20 the pit area opens at 5:00 p.m. followed by the grandstand area at 6:00 p.m. A mandatory driver’s meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. with hot laps set to get underway at 7:00 p.m. followed by heat race action.

Grandstand Admission for this special event has been reduced to $10 for adults and $2 for kids ages 6 through 12. Pit Admission is $25 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6 through 12. Kids ages 5 and under are admitted FREE to Richmond Raceway.

With only three races left in the 2011 points chase Aaron Hatton of Mount Sterling, KY continues to the Coyote 100.7 FM Super Late Models, Russ Gabbert of Berea, KY in the Open Wheel Modifieds, John Cole of Berea, KY in the Sportsman, Glen Hounshell, Sr. of Berea, KY in the Road Hogs, and Nathaniel Harrision of Somerset, KY in the Four Cylinders.
