My oh My Kevin Weaver over Scott Bull heck of a race tonight As James Essex would say Are You Kidding Me!!!

B. Shep was running away early...and for whatever reason kept running the rail and broke. Showed no attempt to go anywhere but to the cushion...even when WAY ahead of the pack...and may of contributed to why he broke. Balls to the wall with about 12-15 to go.

At that time only 2 cars were on bottom running their line...Weaver and Bull...and come to think of it..E. Smith.

After Shep broke, field bunched up...yet everyone was content to restart on top except for Bull and Weaver.

Racing continued and Bull and Weaver were holding their own on the bottom and passing the rail on top.

Caution for a spin out came with about 8-9 to go. Restart came, Bull and Weaver continued the march...and Bull decided to take it high in the last 2-3 laps. Weaver held it to the bottom...the much faster line...and took Bull into the last last lap behind half a car. Bull running high and Weaver running the bottom into 3-4...B12 came out of turn 4 railing on the bottom for a 3/4 car win...never letting the buzz of the high side get to him all 30 laps.

Chalk one up for the B12! Deserved!

When was the last time Fairbury had a bad race?

When was the last time Fairbury had a bad race?

This year, the North South 100 would have been the worst race at FALS. Your top two tonight were running 7th (Bull) and 9th (Weaver) with 12 laps to go. FALS has provided THE best weekly show in the country this year, hands down. Hats off to Randy, Chad, Darren, Rusty, Jim, Sherrie, and the rest of the officials/scorers and volunteers that make it what it is.

Looking forward to the PDC. It's going to be a hell of a show!

When was the last time Fairbury had a bad race?

It's been a while.

Congrats to Kevin Weaver, chalk one up for the "old" guys. Hats off to the track crew again, very good track for the features.

Congratulationsference to Kevin. Guy works darned hard. What is the difference between a Bill West and a Rayburn?

That is a difficult question to answer. Bill West builds a heck of a good race car. The problem is that there are not very many of them racing. Kevins car incorporates a lot of his and Bills ideas. This particular car was very good at the end of last year but Kevin has always continued to experiment and see what else is out there. He spent a lot of time this year in Mastersbuilt and a Rocket but could never find the setup that suited him. The West car has a lot of Rayburn technology on the front and Rocket theory on the back. He spent two days last week putting this car back together after walking around it all last winter and summer. Look for him to debut a new Pierce in the next week or so.

Kevin in a Pierce......like the idea of that.....he is always a threat in a Pierce modified.....hope that carries over to the LM.......the lowside Pierce setups will benefit for sure!!!!!!!

Started 4th at FC last night, took the lead and led at half way point. Smith got hooked up on bottom and went by. Kevin faded late and gave up 2nd on the last lap to lil Bobby. Still running good in a West and is very good to see.

Heard Pierce chassis is a done deal. Question is delivery. Of course, that is what you hear...but don't really know. One thing about it, Kevin likes to tweak, so it'll be interesting what he can do with it once he gets some laps under it.

Weaver slid under Unzicker and Bull got around him on the high side but they caught a caution. Unzicker ended up leading the entire race but Chandler gave him a run for few laps, Weaver gave him a run Smith just about got into before another caution. Bull ran him down at the end but came up short.
