Im goin to a split valve shock on the lr behind axle with a 6/2 shock.. what shock valving would be most recommended to run on the front of axle mounted on the birdcage with the 6/2 shock? track stays sorda tacky to little dry with a little rubber, groove is on the top most of the time Thanx

Never ran a shock in front with our GRT. when we ran twin tubes we ran a 9/3 behind axle, and with the mono tube we run it by itself behind axle..

For some reason everyone thinks you can't run a shock on the front of a GRT. I call BS.

Probably a 4-0 or something in that ballpark.

I've used as high as 9-0 at slick big corner, momentum tracks, with certain drivers.
4-0 to 6-0 is commonplace.
Helps keep the hiked attitude in the car, when you have to be out of the gas longer on entry, slicker tracks, and drivers who don't have trail braking really figured out, usually need more compression.
Helps control hike down, which usually causes the car to get real tight from the quick loss of rear steer, and lack drive when back on the gas.

more less keeping the car free goin into corners??? what else would i be expecting from this setup??? More loose all the way through or tight??? And do i need to change anything as far as percentages of scaling?? or how much bite for a GRT for this setup??

Don't expect a major change (unless your car darts w/a push/hikes down when you lift) ..................expect consistency!
Notable changes CAN include:
extended side bite on entry
better forward drive off
mostly more consistent lap times/control in traffic.
