Tri-County Race Track is Back in Action Aug. 26 with Back to School Nickel Night!!

"Tri-County will resume with Back to School Nickel Night on Friday, August 26. On top of the regular racing program, a special promotion will be held for the kids courtesy of Macon Bank of Murphy, North Carolina. A total of 10,000 nickels will be scattered on the front stretch and kids ages 4-12 will be split up into three different groups. Each age group will receive two minutes on the track to find as many nickels as possible. The winner of each age group will be given a savings bond in their own name courtesy of Macon Bank."

Make plans to come out to Ray Cook's Promoted Tri-County Racetrack in Brasstown, NC this friday. This year we have seen tons of exciting racing action every week. Last week they had 18 Super Latemodels and 20 Limited/Crates along with many car's in other divisions as well. I look forward to seeing some more great racing action this week with a full pits and a good crowd!!

Gates Open @ 5 pm, Drivers Meeting @ 7:30, and Racing Starts at 8pm with Hotlaps
Admission is $10 for adults stands, Kids 6-12 stands $5, Under 5 stands free. Adult pits $22, Kids 6-12 Pits $10, Under 5 Pits Free.

The limited/crate race has been just as exciting as the super latemodels this year. You wont find a better field of limited driver's any where in my opinion!

I'm ready! These guys and gals remind me of the old school racers who weren't afraid to get a little dirt or a few dents on their cars. There is three and four wide racing in every class. And it don't take all night to get through the program.

Winter time is coming so now's the time to start if you want to see some good racing this season.
