What would you expect dfferent in handling with a LF 550 vs 500? how would the car react one vs the other?

If you're currently on a 500 and go to the 550 it will tighten entry. When you get off the gas at corner entry and the weight transfers to the front the stiffer (550) spring will jack cross weight into the RR causing it to plant the RR more and tighten entry.

Correct it will also increase load on the LF and can help turn the car into the corner. Making the LF stiffer and softening the RR can help it turn into the corner and not add as much to the RR making it to tight. You can also control this with the shocks.

A very common adjustment to balance the car on entry. It won't effect exit hardly at all.
