right before i pick up the gas the car picks the front end up and turns right....when i get on throttle it wants to three wheel quite a bit....any idea wat could be the problem? i was thinking maybe i have the jbar to low on pinion? im about 1.5" above quickchange pinion with 4.5" rake

sounds like it is coming off the bars to rapidly and rear steering to the right. Try shocking the left rear more on comp. May even try to come off of gas a bit smoother. reduce roll steer.

If it's flying the nose like that sounds like more RF rebound or a lighter RF spring would help you out. That will keep the attitude of the car over on the RF more helping it turn mid corner.

i have a 400 rf spring and a 3 comp 12 rebound shock over there? should i go even farther?

Is this an overslung chassis or underslung, if overrail, you might have too much lr drop. Your not digging rf frame rail in track are you?

Might want to try 1/2 inch down on frame J bar mount and 1/4 inch less Lr drop. When
we ran that soft of RF had to reduce LR drop or RF frame dug in and it would take off in a dirty push. good luck

i have a bump stop on the rf shock that keeps the frame 2 inches off the ground so i dont think it could be digging...i have to have the bumper in with that soft spring....if the rr was diggin too hard on entry would that make it feel like it lifted the front up make it push?
its not really a smooth push the car really changes directions pretty hard right in the center before i get back to gas

How are you getting away with a 400 lbs spring in the right front ? has anyone had any luck with a 175 lr spring behind, and a 150 rr on top of tube in dry slick

its a ford framed car....thats why ii can be so soft on rf, also i can be so soft on rf beause of the bump stop....can actually go clear down to 300-325 and not really a problem if tracks smooth and slow

You could be hitting the stop hard enough to bust the contact patch.

i considered tht but thinking back about it its happeneing to far past when the rf dives to be that....i turn in, the rf dives, i lift, then a little after that right before throttle it feels like rr tire digs in and car rotates around it pushin up the hill

Sounds like it's falling off the bars on the LR then... Do you have a brake floater on the LR? If so, does it help if you drag the brake? If not, I'd maybe look at putting one on... They work great with bumpstop combos.

are you counter steering when it happens? maybe too much caster?

yep as soon as i back steer it changes directions......i think maybe ur on to something there....im gonna check and see if maybe the rf strut rod got bent or something thats causing it to have too much caster in the rf.....it drives in good rotates good and then as soon as i back steer it changes directions

Is this a Torino clip. I have one on a 3 link and it is doing about the same thing. As soon as back on gas it lifts the left front and pushes. But I'm not on that soft a spring.

The stiff rebound may be holding it there and when the car is coming off the bars it may be trying to lift the RF.
