Richmond Raceway Stars & Stripes 40 this Saturday, September 3; STARS MDRL/STARS VRS Late Models $3,000 to win!

RICHMOND, KY (August 28, 2011)-Richmond Raceway track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett present their final marquee event of the 2011 season this Saturday, September 3. The north will meet the south when the STARS Midwest Dirt Racing League and the STARS Volunteer Racing Series come together at the Tackett’s Madison County facility for a $3,000 to win/$300 to start main event!

The event will feature a complete show of Practice, Group Time Trials, Heat Races, Consolation Races and the 40-lap A-Main. As an added bonus, the Open Wheel Modifieds will compete for an $800 top prize while a weekly racing program is in store for the Sportsman, Road Hogs, and Four Cylinders.

CT Marketing is sponsoring a $100 cash bonus to the overall fastest qualifier for the STARS Midwest Dirt Racing League/STARS Volunteer Racing Series Late Models.

The Late Model tire rule for this event is as follows: Open Front with Rear tires being Hoosier LM40 or 1600 and the American Racer MD-56, these tires must punch 60 cold. The Series charges a $50 entry fee for non-members with members receiving a $10 discount. Each series will receive two provisional a piece and the track will have one provisional starting spot that night.

Saturday, September 3 is College Night at Richmond Raceway. Anyone with a valid college I.D. will be admitted FREE to the grandstand area.

For Saturday, September 3 the pit area opens at 4:00 p.m. followed by the grandstand area at 5:00 p.m. Grandstand Admission for this marquee event is $17 for adults and $3 for kids ages 6 through 12. Pit Admission is $30 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6 through 12. Kids ages 5 and under are admitted FREE to Richmond Raceway.

just wondering if dustin linville can race this race beens its a mdrl/vrs race mr tilly he is the point leader correct you should contact linville and tackett and get this issue cleared up
