Chad Thrash Tops Magnolia Checkers
Meridian, Mississippi (08/30/11) – After a stretch of bad luck Chad Thrash was finally able to get things back on track on Saturday night by piloting his #1c Thrash Motorsports/Tomkat of Chunky/Rocket/Jay (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ens Racing Engine Super Late Model to the feature win at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi).
The last minute decision to enter a Weekly Racing Series Event on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) turned out to be a great one as Chad raced his way to his second feature win of the year over a field of twenty-nine Super Late Models. He started the night by qualifying second fastest in the field to earn the outside front row starting position for the main event alongside, Jason Brock. As the feature went green Thrash bolted to the top spot, and it was a lead that he would never relinquish as he went on to conquer the 1/3 mile oval on his way to the win, which came over Eric Cooley, Jason Cliburn, Jason Brock, and Jimmy Cliburn.
