Bart Hartman Wins Open Wheel Modified Motor Madness Finale at Clayhill; Turns Focus to World 100

(ZANESVILLE, OHIO) Bart Hartman recorded his sixth victory of the 2011 racing season on Saturday night, August 27 at the Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tennessee! Aboard the Larry Shaw House Car, Bart won his heat race in preliminary action and later dominated the 'Open Wheel Modified Motor Madness' feature event. The Zanesville, Ohio ace led all forty circuits of the A-Main to claim the $5,000 top prize over Shane Akin, Hunter Rasdon, Jonathan Rowan, and Tyler Townsend!

On Friday evening, Bart drove the 2 Brothers Motorsports sponsored #75 Larry Shaw / Roush Yates entry in another $5,000 to win duel at Clayhill. The popular driver known as the "Bartman" ran second in his heat race, which locked him into the outside of the fourth row in the 40-lap main event. Bart climbed up to fifth in night one of 'Open Wheel Modified Motor Madness' to finish behind only winner Hunter Rasdon, Shane Akin, Robby Arnold, and Steve Picou. Full results from both events over the weekend in the Volunteer State can be viewed online at www.clayhillmotorsports.com.

Following the successful weekend down south, Bart plans to take the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend off from any type of racing action. His next event is scheduled to be the 41st Annual ‘World 100’ at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on September 9-10. Bart will once again be behind the wheel of Ernie Davis’ #25 Rocket Chassis for the biggest race in the Dirt Late Model industry. Qualifying will take place at the “Big E” on Friday night, while the heat races, consolation events, and the $44,000 to win ‘World 100’ are all scheduled for Saturday evening.
