ULTIMATE SERIES RESCHEDULES
CHEROKEE HALL OF FAME 50
Gaffney, SC- Ultimate Series Director Timmy Mcabee earlier today announced that the Cherokee Hall of Fame 50 will be rescheduled for Saturday Sept 24th, 2011. Mcabee continued “Ultimate officials want to apologize to our teams, drivers and most of all the fans for the unfortunate situation that occurred last night.” Series officials felt this date was the best available after consulting several Ultimate teams and Board members. With the season drawing to a close, the Ultimate Series is still working on a date for the rainout at Wythe Raceway on Sept, 3rd. The Series also have the Stick Elliott Memorial Oct. 1st and the $10000 to win Blue-Gray 100 scheduled for later this season at Cherokee Speedway.
Armbands and tickets from Sept 4th will be honored for the Sept 24th event.
Per Ultimate rules regarding postponed events, the Sept 24th Hall of Fame 50 will be a complete new show with qualifying, heats and the $5000 to win feature event. Those rules are listed below and can be found on www.ultimatesupers.com.
RAIN OUTS
Any event with 51% of laps completed shall be considered FINAL.
Should an event be postponed due to inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled and event will start all over. No qualifying, heats, etc will be held over. COMPLETE NEW SHOW!
